  • As you know, SARS is an international concern. At this time in Canada, it is primarily isolated to the greater Toronto area. We wish to express our concern and support to all SARS victims, their families and friends. We also wish offer our concern and support to the front-line health care workers, health care facilities, public health departments, OMA, government, and other organizations dealing with the SARS outbreak, some that have individuals who themselves have fallen ill with SARS.

  • Canadians Give a Grade B to the Health Care System - a new Canadian Medical Association finds in its latest National Report card on Health Care (click here for a "pdf" version of the report).  Access to family physicians is the only area that received a grade A; yet, it is the area of health care that is getting the most pressure for major changes.
