June 23, 2006 - Dr. Douglas Mark Speaks out about the CPSO 2005 Physician Survey – The 2005 survey of Ontario's physicians, conducted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, found the number of family physicians accepting new patients at an all time low. The survey also shows that the medical profession is aging and that work patterns for many physicians and the demographics of the physician population are changing.

Coalition Of Family Physicians Of Ontario To Release Referendum Results (February 17, 2004, Toronto , Ontario) – Dr. Douglas Mark, President of the Coalition of Family Physicians of Ontario, will be holding a media conference on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 to release the results of a referendum that was recently sent to all family physicians practicing in Ontario. September 17, 2002 - The following column appeared in the Globe and Mail ..by Murray Campbell.  It discusses issues pertaining to family health networks and the lack of nurse practitioners as well as our concerns with the agreements.

September 12, 2002 - Dr. Mark appeared in an interview that appeared on TVO Studio 2.  He stated the results of our January Petition/Survey: 98 Percent said no to FHN contracts.  He was also quoted about the concern that family doctors were not interested in signing contracts that gave government more control.

May 18, 1999 The Medical Post - Highlights of Liberal Leader Dalton McGuinty's keynote speaker address at our April conference.  He was the only partly leader to show respect for family physicians.  His proposals to give some tuition fee relief and increased in medical school enrolment (to counter the growing shortage of MDs) were welcome, but some proposals were less well received.
