Here are some of the letters that the COFP sent out that were not also sent to our membership:

  • December 31, 2001 - Letter to RBRVS Commission pertaining to the September 2001 draft report.  We have many concerns about the commission's methodology and result of the family physician fees.  The current draft is unacceptable.
  • March 20, 2000 - Letter to the Minister of Health discussing a recent OMA announcement that indicated that non-OMA members will be disqualified from participating in the referendum to be held on any eventual agreement with the Province.
  • February 21, 2000 National Post - Letters to the editor from Dr. Lichtman and Executive COFP member Dr. Suzanne Strasberg respond to Dr. Duncan Sinclair's letter on PCR

  • January 21, 2000.  Executive Member Dr. Suzanne Strasberg letter to the editor of the National Post in response to the article, Ontario’s Commissars of Health (Jan 17/00).  She comments on several issues of health care system trouble and how she maintains her license in Arizona in case government restructuring becomes unbearable.
  • August 31, 1999.  The COFP responds to Dr. Walter Rosser's recent paper presented by the Ontario College of Family Physicians entitled "Family Medicine in the 21st Century; A Prescription for Excellence in Health Care".

  • January 18, 1999.  The COFP immediately reacts to the Ontario Drug Benefit Program and Ministry of Health for the new Limited Use Drugs bureaucracy.
